Anyone try and run 38X15.50's on 8 inches fo lift?

Hey guys, my tires are getting kind of low for my liking ( i bought them used) and im looking to replace them by this summer, I want to throw some 38X15.50XR20 Toyos on it but im worried about the width, i don't care if i rub a bit here and there, i dealt with it with the 37's on 6 inches of lift for months. Does anyone know anybody running this size with 8 inches of lift?

thanks

-Matt

there's a guy on autotrader who's got 40's with a 10 inch lift, same concept. i think the width of the tire is gonna be the issue. i've seen a guy with a rancho and 37's on stock rims though. gonna run a x10 or x12 ? i see bfg km2's come in 38x14.50 but in a 17 inch rim. or body lift and 40's on 20's...now that would be sweet!

i plan on running 38/15.5's this spring / summer

i m going to put either 6in, pro-comp or rough country under the BL. should be enough room to clear

i kno its not 8 inches, but we shall see. i found a good deal on 20'' Mazzi's so we will be running the same wheel specs

I would think you would get alittle bit of a rub...the width will more then likely be the issue.

As soon as I saw his name I was going to say something about the bumper earlier, actually not so much the bumper just the waiting for the pics of the damn thing. I figured no one would remember that far back.
