lifted 05 brake prob. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have 35s and just replaced the badly warped stock front rotors with aftermarket drilled/slotted with pads and a bleed job. They brake well at times but most of the time I get a feedback in the brake pedal, almost like the pads grabbing than slipping and it also feels like I lose pressure slightly.Thats why I bled them but that did not help. The ABS light comes on after a few minutes of driving and stays on.The feedback I feel in the pedal is hard to explain and I dont want to crash.Any feedback/advise/suggestions will help,so please() HELP!!!! Thanks,Tim...

I know there is a bleeder on the abs module. That may have to be bled. When I did mine I did not have to bleed the module. Also you are lifted, do you have braided lines on the calipers? If not I would def get some to make the pedal feel better. Thats all I could tell you without looking at the truck. If the light is coming on, the system see's a fault or one wheel is going faster then the other ( usually with diff tire sizes). Maybe a ford tech could give u some more feedback. Good Luck!

Could it be that after changing my rotors, the cpu just needs to be reset so the sensor turns off?

I dont think so. Something else is up. Maybe your tires might have rubbed an abs wire? Always do a visual inspection before replacing anything. Do any of your friends have a good scan tool that will look at abs signals? Sometimes you can see what the reading are for each wheel. I did an 04 explorer, you could see the sensor readings going in and out. Check there first. Also make sure the abs ring is clean and if you can see the sensor (Behind the rotor) make sure that is clean. I dont remeber if you can clean the sensor or not, I have not had my brakes off in a while. This could also throw off the reading.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. You can also disconnect the battery and drive it, but usually if an abs fault is gone the light will shut off by itself but it would not hurt to try. Then take it for a ride.
