that does look pretty good...but wow, you've completely ruined your fogs functionality

I have fogs so I can use them...

Darn I really like how they turned out, the rectangle style fogs are the best looking. I wonder if you upgraded to the higher output bulb, hyper white or watever, it would really stand out.

The light output is cut done. And they are stock headlights.

must be that we are seeing a different spectrum of the light then due to the tint

I really like the look, but I need my fogs to be functional as well. wonder how much light would be cut with just the casing blacked, and the lens left clear

My lens is clear, I didn't touch that. I just painted the inside chrome part black. Unless I misunderstood what you are saying. And the first pic above is with my low beams and fogs on and the second is with my orange running lights and the fogs.
