I am going to be taking the chrome handle covers off my truck and just want to see if anyone has done this and what is the best way. Not sure if I will paint them and put them back on or what. Thanks guys

I am sure it is just tape but pulling it a little seems to be pretty strong stuff

 

Heat them up with a hairdryer and they should just peal off. Use some Goo Remover or just rubbing alcohol to remove any left over sticky residue.

 

Thanks! I may try and do this next weekend and then sand and paint to match the truck along with the badges, and put the red overlays back on
