drl on a 08 f-150

How can I turn off the drl on my 08 f-150. I think you can remove the reley in the 07’s but in the 08’s the relay is connected to a mess of other things I do not want to remove.

Any ideas?

I don't know what the differences are, if any, between the years but all I did was unplug the wire from the part in the picture being held on by the single bolt, I think its a resistor.
Just undo the rubber panel on the drivers side of the rad, unplug, tie back the wire and replace the rubber... takes just a few minutes to complete.
Everything works as normal (except the DRL's of course) and its the 2nd truck I did it on, both being 04's
Good luck
