It is actually the most limited of the 04-08 body style colors. So enjoy the exclusivity of it!

Lance, a narrower tire is indeed better in the snow and rain, but for different reasons. In the rain, the narrower tire offers less area for water to accumulate under, and lead to hydroplaning.

In the snow, the narrower tire is better since it "cuts" through the snow easier. Also, snow is "compacting", meaning it sticks to itself.

Nice color...I dont have much done to mine yet, i bought mine Dec.2006....and the first thing i did was 14" true dual maggies and Carriage Works billet grilles upper and lower. Then tinted windows and leveling kit, just no wheels yet. I wished i had the black interior...dang. heres the album https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...ey-albums.html

Agreed, wheels would make a big difference, but I think body colored door handles would be equally tasteful !

Also, regarding wheels, I personally think the OEM Ford 20's are perfect for the Smokestone color. You can usually pick up a set (sometimes with tires too) pretty cheap in the classifieds.

Love that color!
Got my smokestone back in February 2006. "Nobody is interested in it" that's what the dealer said. Gave me a grand more in my pocket. With excluding the AB skirt ever notice the two tone color of the paint itself? It's rad! Actually had two DMV employees argue what color to put on the title paperwork. They finally decided on "brown". Didn't really like that but what the hey. What they don't know won't hurt them.

I will try to post pics sometime.

I also have a 2006 Smokestone Lariet and I love it. Got mine Dec of 2008 with 20k miles on it. I beleive it has some type of leveler kit on it but the dealership said it was all stock. And when I was getting my oil changed the tech also though there was some type of lift/leveler on it. I'll try to post some pics of it.

And mine has the tan interior, and as much as I have always loved black interior, I think the tan fits the truck and it's exterior color very well.

Nice Truck. Like the color. Check my gallery. I wish i had the black interior, and my truck is dirty in the pics...It was around winter. I have the carriage works billet, maggies and a leveling kit. I believe i made a post a long time ago for all the Smokestones to post up, so you can search for that. There are a few other things they have dont to there rigs if you want to check that out. There are a few fellas that are too cool for school that posted, but disregard them..Ha....https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...one-f150s.html
