Question Alternator whistle when COLD....??

So I have the truck in my sig and lately is as been making a high pitch whine/ whistle after starting it the first time. It does not start right away when I start it but within a few minutes and it will come and go, last maybe 5 or so seconds at a time. When it does do it it's quite loud as I can hear it from inside the house.

It did this last winter but maybe only a 2 or 3 times out of the whole winter. Now it does it just about every time when it is 10f or colder.

Also when driving I really do not notice it, only did about two times and it was under VERY light acceleration with heat and radio off did I hear it very faint.

It will not do it after the truck has been running/has warmed up either...that I can tell

Does this still sound like the Alternator?

I know there have been quite a few on here that have had theirs replaced with a redesigned one...I believe Ford came out with two new ones as there first redesign still made the noise......

Anybody have the part number to the newest one? (5.4)

Also I will try to get a video clip of it to see what you guys think and also to show my dealer so they don't have to keep the truck waiting for it to make the noise.

BTW, I am not talking about the squeal at start up that lasts for about 5 sounds or so....just to be clear.

Thanks
Josh
