I have some Hella heads that i bought off an online retailer that started to get condensation and for lack of a better word "peeling" from within. I sent them pics and they informed me that Hella would warranty them, but I wouldnt recieve replacement till about mid-february since Hella was reworking the design.

Great...... So this is what I have to look forward too... I guess you get what you pay for. If mine start acting up I'm going to go OEM! Gotta pay to play. I guess...

I am one of those..... constant condensation in my driver's side Hella light. It was in both of them, but I resealed them...then 1 month later, the driver's side started fogging up.

I am solving this little issue....I am patiently waiting for my Harley's! The are some where between the East Coast and West Coast on a UPS truck right now

Where did you get them from? I have the cheepo's from e-bay so its just a matter of time before they leak...

The new OEM Harley's? Tasca Ford. If you need the phone number / name of guy who I talked to, PM me.... He offers a great deal, if you mention "F150Online.com"

I ordered the Harley heads and tails from him

I was quoted $365 each by my dealer (Canadian). I wonder if Tasca would ship to Canada...?

anyone know if the Hella's or Depo's are easy to open? Via oven. The OEM's require oven + dremel

Not sure about the Hellas or Depos, but the OEMs were easy to crack open 10-11 minutes in the oven and a big flathead screwdriver.

Yeah well Ive been reading they arent, I'd like for the FX2's to open easy so I wont have to paint the Hellas or Depos grey after im done with my retrofit.

2 Acura TL bi-xenon projectors headlights
2 Acura TSX xenon projectors in foglights (running 3000K)

Time to get some real HID, im tired of the shotty output of the conversion kits.
Process should last through the spring and summer...ordering parts when I can. Its an expensive upgrade. Ill read up more on the OEM housings and if I decide, ill be going with your FX2 set if its still available at the time

good choice on the Acura projectors. i'm more than happy with the conversion kit, but that's just me. from the one time baked and cracked open the chrome stockers, it was easy. i just wish i was better at painting.

oh and my FX2s sold already.

Hey stiffhorn, let me know if you come across anymore I want to buy a set of OEM and this is why. Today to my disappointment BOTH of my cheepo E-bay hella have water leaks all through out the housings I just e-mailed the company I bought them from asking for a refund, I have only had them about a week in the truck!

If anyone come's across an OEM set of Harley's please send me a PM or e-mail!

Had been looking 4 about 3 months. Then found them on craigslist. There was another guy selling a new set for 300, out of Houston. But the guy I was dealing with was fast. Got them for 250 shipped.
Be patient, saw a set of used on ebay about 4 months back. for 200.
They do show up, just got to be diligent and pounce quick when you find.
