Sparkplug Success!

2006 W/70,000 miles four came out easy, 2 came out stiff, and 2 came out real stiff. Two of the easy ones I didn't even bother using lube. The 2 hardest ones give me some serious pucker. However, they did all come out without breaking and I replaced them with the Champion one peace. Thankyou to everyone who led the way and shared their advise.

Nice!! I myself just removed and cleaned all 8 plugs with little or no resistance I only had 36,000miles so I didn't bother replacing since all 8 plugs were is great condition. Once it's time to replace mine I'll be useing the autolites. I'm not trying to start anything here or scare you but if you look in the "Engine" section or just run a search on the champion plugs, you'll see what can happen with them. One guy had 2 plugs burn down to almost nothing, there are pictures so you can see.

If you plan in keeping the truck for a long time, you need to take the plunge! My service advisor told me to do it at or before 60,000miles!......I'm at 30,000miles so they have 2 more years to get some practice in!.......(LOL).....

Mine were changed once at 20,000 (TSB) so I'm going to have them changed at 80,000 miles.
