I kno this has been highly covered in the forums but couldnt really find the answer im looking for, I have a 2004 F150 5.4, I bought the truck used wen it had 30,000 miles on it and it now has almost 60,000. I dont believe my cam phasers were replaced when the other owner had it wen it still had the warrenty, I talked to my parts manager from the dealership i used to work at and he told me that if you go too long without replaceing the cam phasers it could hurt the engine since it has to do with the timing of the VCT. So my question is, how many miles has anyone with a 2004 gone before replaceing their cam phasers and about how much did it cost?
