Hella headlights installed

Just installed my new headlights the wife bought me for X-mas. Installation was pretty easy except for one issue getting them aligned properly. I just taped a piece of paper to the garage door where the old lights were pointing. Then I opened the garage when I started the installed. Once they were on I closed the garage again and the lights were shining about 1 1/2' higher than the old ones. No biggie, so I started working them down and could only get about 4" above the paper. After about 10 mins. of lookin around to make sure everything was intalled right I finally figured out the top piece of tape had come undone and the paper had flipped down. So once I taped the paper back up I got them aligned right. I love how they look! Now I just gotta put my old lights on craigslist and get some money back hehe.

Yeah, mine where aimed extremely high after install. Had to find a level parking lot to aim them according to the owner's manual but love the sharper cutoff.

those do look awesome

why not try your hand at blacking the OEM ones out? and then selling them? there ain't much market for the shiny lights except for the occasional poor sod who broke one in a fender bender

Thanks, I was thinking about doing that but I've got a lot goin on right now. If I can get them sold quick I can put the money into my "exhaust fund" which I'll hopefully be getting next month.

Those do look great, big improvement from such a small thing.
I'm considering buying some used stock headlights to try and black them out too. I don't want to pull mine out and screw them up some how
