Ted, I have two '07 Harley Davidson F-150 that have LED's everywhere - including tail lights and third brake light. Neither one has a problem with the cruise or trailer connectors.

you have to make sure theres a resistor in line so it thinks theres a real bulb in there and the turn signal doesnt flash fast or the cruise doesnt work

I think it may depend on the trailer electrical demands.

I tow a 14' Big Tex open trailer on a regular basis w/no problems. It has the flat plug, four lights, and no electric brakes.

Now I did have a problem with my Hella LEDS when I went to tow a larger trailer (20' box) w/electric brakes and marker lights.

When I first got my Hella's you have to swap out the 20a fuse for a 7.5a. When I hooked the trailer up it blew the 7.5 fuse instantly. I tried a 10 and it blew. Tried a 15 and finally a 20 to get them to work. I drove the trailer from Cincinnati to Orlando and back w/no issues. Once I dropped the trailer I switched back to a 7.5. I never used the cruise.

My experience

Hella's have been on my truck since late 06 and never experienced a problem with cruise. The only minor issue I've had with the Hella's is the third brake light tends to blink(very faintly), when the hazard flasher is operated.
