If you're short on cash I don't know if KM2's are going to be your best choice. They are quite the expensive tire

I was curious, so I checked out tire rack. their "cheap" 1 with the lower load range is $325/tire, and the even less "cheap" one with the higher load range is $450/!

just how short on cash are you?
I picked up a set of fuzion xti's for ~$150/tire. They're way better all terains than the goodyear at/s that came on my truck, but I don't know if they'd be what you want.

Have you seen any used km2's for sale on craigslist?

I agree these are not the best tires to be buying if your short on cash. Maybe some sort of all-terrain tire would be better because of cash. Or like suggested check local craigslist or ebay for a used set of KM2's.

You may not be able to get KM2's but try craigslist or your local online newspaper. You can also set up an ebay search within your area to facilitate local pickup.

You want a premium tire on a budget. You may have to compromise to keep your budget happy.

Good luck.

how about a 275/70-18 cooper st for $230?

its not a 35 or top of the line, but they are bigger than what you have and an alright tire. i ran them in a 33 12.50 17 for several years and got many complements.

I was in the store one day and asked the tire girl at the counter if they could get them in and how much...She tried to tell me I meant 235 not 35, lol...then she asked me what kind of vehicle a ire like that goes one. I couldn't resist, I replied "one bad@ss F-150", promptly turned around and walked away laughing. How can a tire salesperson know nothing about tires. I guess they hire anyone to sit at the counter, not a tire guy, but still... I don't think I will be letting Sam's mount and balance my tires.

just for laughs, you should swing by a Ford Dealership and start asking questions about the 09 F-150

they're pushing $30,000+ vehicles and oftentimes don't even know what motor is under the hood

I'm not to worried about letting the Sams guys mount/balance. It's a fairly straightforward job...and the price is almost $300 cheaper than anywhere else on this Island
