4x4 issue

Ive got an 07 and i just wanna pin point the issue with the 4 wheel drive. When i try and engage it, there is a nasty grinding noise coming from the left front wheel. I called the dealer and they cant get me in until the 29th, i just want to see if there something i can look for to fix it...

thanks!

Probably the VERY known problem of IWE's. Do a search on IWE and you'll see if the symptoms match yours. I have one bad right now and plan to fix it after Christmas.

Its good to hear that you found a place to get you in sooner. The leveling kit had nothing to do with the hub failing. It seems that the hubs on our trucks are a very common problem. It doesn't matter if you are leveled, lifted, lowered, or stock if the hub is going to fail, it is going to fail. Playing with the suspension has no affect on the IWE hubs.

I have an 07 and the same thing happened to me last spring, its an IWE solenoid. Its under warranty, you'll be in and out in less than an hour. Mine hasn't bothered me since (knock on wood).
