This weekend, I finally changed my warped rotors. They have been warped for a year and I just never got around to doing it. I didnt change the pads, just put some new rotors on from advance auto. Wearever brand, they look good, not slotted good, but oem good. I greased all the wheel studs and the mating surfaces for the hub to the rotor, finally, I torqued the nuts to 150ft-lbs.

I also acetoned the badges today. More accurately I acetoned one of them and the other two wouldnt budge with Acetone. I scrubbed, let it soak and did everything but drown the whole badge in acetone. I wasnt even getting any black on the rag. Not sure what happened there.
Solution to this problem was some bulldog paint stripper for those rubber flexi bumpers. That worked great without damage to the plastic chrome. I still had to apply several coats to get it completely off, but I wouldn't say it was difficult.

Has anyone run into color fast badges when attempting to use acetone?
