05 Tire Jack Location?

The manual says it should be under the passenger rear seat. I have an 05 King Ranch, but there isn't a compartment under the rear passenger or driver side seat. I looked around the engine compartment as well, and searched the internet for an answer. Does anyone out there know where it would be located?

I have the 05 Lariat supercrew and it is located in a pouch directly underneath the passenger rear seat. I could be mistaken, but if it isn't there, you might not have it.

The jack and the folding rod that is used to lower the spare are in a felt pouch/bag under the rear passenger seat.

Also under the pass. rear seat. On my last used truck, someone took out the jack and never put it back.

Yes under reas psgr seat. Note: The tire iron that comes with the truck is weak - just bent mine into a pretzel and rounded a couple lug nuts. Asked Ford dealer about it and they said yeah - the metal quality is poor? Bought new tire iron at auto parts store....

This telescoping lug wrench works great.

I think I might know why its not there. I just bought the truck used and there are also leather inserts in the headrests as if there was tv screens installed before and later taken out. The dvd player may have been located under that seat then.

That is a very good possiblity. I would just go to Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, ect and get a 2 ton bottle jack. They are small enough to fit under the rear seat, yet should have enough height to lift the truck. Then I would get the lug wrench that Greencrew posted, and you will be all set.

It actually impersive how much you can fit under the little rear seat. I have the stock jack, lug wrench also a 24" breaker bar with 6" ext. 3/4 deep well socket to get my aftermarket wheels off, 20' snap strap, 2 16' rachet straps, and 2 pairs of gloves.

Wow, now that's a jack.

For easy storage, a simple scissors jack would suffice.

Does anyone have a picture or two of how the jack mounts into the bracket under the rear seat in a Crew Cab (2005)?

Mine was missing the jack when I bought it. I purchased a Jack set off eBay. The bracket they fit into is still there under the seat.

I got the long Wing bolt and some sort of metal piece along with the jack I bought. I also got another set of lug wrench and the parts to take the tire down along with the Jack but the pouch and all those was still in there already so I really didn't need those but no matter. The Jack set I got was supposed to be fore a Crew but I am not certain it is.

However I do not have any idea how it all fastens down to the bracket. There is a little plastic diagram slip in the pouch that shows operation but does not clearly show how to stow all that stuff. I just can't figure out how it all fastens down.

Thread revival here. Been looking for a pic as well and can't seem to find anything. I have an '04 Supercrew and it's missing everything but the bracket. I'd like to see a pic of a complete setup if anyone has one.
Thanks
