how's that wrinkle finish like to clean the brake dust off of?

i wish i would have p/c'd mine as well - it would make cleaning much easier (like just wiping them off easy)

but i have to worry about scratching my paint

The finish is called Black River. I chose it because it hides imperfections really well(use to have my rock crawler's wheels coated in it). Cleans up easy. When washing the truck, I just use soap and water to clean. I wax and polish just like any other paint. I try to stay on top of brake dust buildup by giving them a wipe down once a week (usually just a wash wipe such as armor all cleaner wipes for paint or shop towel and multi surface cleaner spray)

It'll be april or may before I have mine on. I am going to drop them off at the powdercoater next week and have them pc'd black. Going to do an Eibach pro truck kit and put the wheels on at the same time...Can't freakin wait.

Looks like I have a chrome set on the way too Now all I have to line up is: tpms & bands, center caps, lugs, and of course 4 tires...
Which leads me to ask; what size tire is everyone going with? And best deal on said tires?

solomonHk :
Sorry; but a few more questions, ya truck looks killer by the way:
I assume after you put your 23's on, you got an alignment?
Can you please tell me how much sidwall that size tire gives from the edge of the rim to the thread?
Did you notice much difference in the way your truck drove and handled, for better or worse?
PLMK, thanks bro!

I don't have mine on now but I think people are getting wheel alignments b4 they put these wheels on.

My alignment was pre mount. All I did after mounting was have a road force balance.

I will have to get back to you on sidewall height.

As far as the way it drove, it rides better than factory, IMHO. The only issue is the same with any wide tire, it has a hard time with wear grooves in roads. If the road is not asphalt, like cement, there isnt any issue at all.

Why would you need an alignment? that doesn't make any sence to me.

So say its true that we need an alingment done, once I put my stock 20's back on I will have to have ANOTHER alignment.?!? (Winter driving)

I dunno, but going from an 8" to 10" rim will surely effect the way the front end tracks I would assume? An alignment is only like $50 or so so why chance it after all this money?
