Based on your part number, it seems you got the one-button keyfob starter. So you'll have to carry two keyfobs around.

This is the part number for the remote start and keyless entry system all in one 4-button keyfob: 2W7Z-19G364-BA

Code Alarm makes the Ford systems. So you could save money by buying the equivalent Code Alarm system CA-530 which is the remote start and keyless entry system all in one 4-button keyfob.
With the CA-530, do you have to buy a PATS ignition kit seperately, or place a cut key under the dash?

see the info I posted on page one. He only got the one-button starter model, so that means he had to carry two fobs around.

Gotcha. Anyone on here familiar with this one?

I believe the part number is 7L3Z-19G364-AA

It's on This Website for $278.50.
It's only $214.50 from Tasca.

rednoved, they have the wrong picture on that website. If you read the description on that website, it has alarm and remote start with a 6-button keyfob. Based on the part number you posted, here is the correct picture of the keyfob:

Based on that picture you posted of the 4-button fob, this is the part number for the remote start and keyless entry system all in one 4-button keyfob: 2W7Z-19G364-BA

I have the 4-button system. For some reason, that system doesn't show up anymore for the 07 and 08 F150. I believe Ford might have discontinued it, so it might be limited to dealer stock left. Tasca has it listed. You can still install it in any year F150, it doesn't matter.

Like I posted on the first page, if you want to save money by buying the equivalent Code Alarm system (they make the Ford ones), buy the CA-530 which is the remote start and keyless entry system all in one 4-button keyfob just like you posted. It is "wire-for-wire" the same exact system as the Ford one. It is a great system if you don't need an alarm or 2-way confirmation.

For the 4-button one, the Ford fob is black while the Code Alarm fob is carbon fiber.

^yes, that's the CA530 he posted a link to. It only comes with a carbon fiber remote. What's the big deal in that? If you want a black remote, get the CA521 model, but that remote fob doesn't have the panic/horn button on it. Or get the actual Ford model (which costs more).

CA530 is the same as 4-button Ford one like I said. One better feature though is CA530 has a selectable run time of 12 or 25 minutes, while the Ford one is only selectable from 10 or 15 minutes.

I don't think I can spell out things any clearer for you in these last 2 posts of mine!

I just ordered two CA-520A and PATS override kits, one for the '06 F-150, and one for wifey's '02 Explorer. I was gonna order from Travis, to get the instructions and prewiring, but I got both kits with PATS, shipped, for less than $140!!!! I have installed Ford's version of the CA-530 on an '02 Taurus in the past, so this shouldn't be all that hard. For my money, the only difference I would realize is the lack of the panic horn feature on the 520, which we never use anyway.

I recall having a supplemental spec sheet for the Taurus, that described the wires' colors and their locations, when I did the install. Anyone know where I can find this info for the F-150 and Explorer?

Jimbo, there used to be a website (gemsen.com/ford) that had all the Ford tech install files, but it's no longer available because they told me they lost their contract with Ford. But I was able to save the .PDF install files. If you email me through my profile, I can email you the files. The file has the wire info for both of your trucks.
