Red face Can I

Put the 4x4 bilstein shocks on my 2wd truck? I know it may sound weird, but they are close to a $100 cheaper for the 4X4 ones.:o

ive thought about the same thing. i saw a thread on here not to long ago (how to make a 2wd sit like a 4wd) i think it was that one, and all you had to do is replace the 2wd shocks with the 4x4 ones and it would give you the 4x4 look and of course the back block. but i havnt gotten around to do it has anyone done this yet???

I think it would work as long as you put the 4x4 bilstein shocks at the 0 setting as it should be equal to the +2 setting on a 2wd bilstein shock. Make senses?
