grille, powder coat finish???

grille, powder coat finish???

hello i just bought a roush grill for my red screw,i have done my headlights/fogs with gloss black. so i'm getting the grille powder coated before i install it.
So my question is what finish are you guys going with? so should i go gloss black or satin, thx for the suggestions and opinions

I dont think a plastic grille would hold up too well in an 800 degree oven, so I'd say powder coating isn't your solution...scuff it up and spray it down with some satin black krylon fusion

lol, oops guess that was not clear, I want to powder coat the roush grille

i know what you meant...same answer, the roush grille is plastic as far as I know...no PC'ing that

typically pc requires 350-400 F for curing, not 800. it is still too much for the grill. some plastic parts are cured using infrared or UV lamps, but you won't find any paint shops using this technology.
