Well I took the plunge and could NOT pass up this deal on a ROUSH supercharger.

After seeing tylus’s supercharger and the deal he got – I knew it was now or never.

ROUSHPERFORMANCE had one of the last SC kits on eBay and I grabbed it for $2,200.

So I had it for a few weeks before I could get to the install. So I decided to paint it 1605 Ford Red and take my time with everything.

I took some pictures for everyone to check out. It came out looking great!

This is a great setup and I am very please with the customer service at ROUSH. This supercharger wasn’t a hard install at all. I am really enjoying the added power and performance!

I hate you, and all you supercharged 5.4 owners! Someone needs to make a blower for the 4.6 or stick a GT blower on. Damn good idea on painting those parts red, makes me even more jealous.

 

Just look for an '03 or '04 Cobra motor for sale somewhere, you could probably pick one up for about the same price as a new supercharger.

Is it the intercooled or non-intercooled version? I was looking into getting one before I blew up my tranny :-(. Now regears first, then a supercharger.

 

Yeah, but that might be a little bit too much work, and I'd still have to buy a supercharger for that since they're just 4 valve NA motors.

 

Nice dude...the red looks sweet with the red Rancho crossmember
