Yea the BFG's IMO are the best all terrain. Yea we had fun that day and spent alot of time cleaning up everything and luckily we dindnt break anything and were able to go right back to driving on road the next day.

nice pics! Looks like a blast, can't believe people are hating on you for posting this. I am always reminding myself "I'll only live this day once, make it a memory".

Looks like you had one heck of a time! I love going down some of these unkept roads out here in kansas. Sort of dislike my flares cause they block the mud too well haha!

The tires are actually 325/65R60. They do scrub even after i trimmed everything I could. And yea Josiah I agree I have fun with my truck and still take care of it. If something breaks, that just gives me something to do. I couldn't see putting tires and everything on my truck not to use them. Performance is a big part of the things i do to my truck.

Sweet pics! Dont let the pretty-boy mall cruisers get you down.

And yes, BFG tires are excellent off the pavement. Its gotten pretty mucky out here in the valley and ive only needed to use 4x4 once this season to get out to the duck blinds.

And for those of you who think getting off the pavement a little is the end of your truck/paint looking good, check this thread out:

Nope! I wouldn't do it. My brother and I built a '66 F250 2wd into a 4wd with a '78 F150 drivetrain back in the '80s. After taking it through a mud hole much like the one pictured and having to clean it up, I said I would never do that again with any truck unless built only for mudding. No more with my daily driver. Trails and general off-roading is another thing, I'm all for it.

I'm not hating either...if you wanna do it, by all means... It IS fun! Just not so fun cleaning and trying not to scratch.

Most all of you would be better suited driving a fusion or escape. If all yall did switch to a more economic vehicle, it would probably bring gas prices down for those of us that own a truck because we use it as a truck. Im not talking about mud riding for no reason but my truck regularly gets that muddy on the farm but it does not mean i dont take care of it. I dont abuse it, i use it.

great pictures!

Right...Whatever...So because someone likes to have a nice truck and keep it nice means they shouldn't have a truck? That's just the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I bet you also think only farmers should have trucks.

Im just saying it baffles me why so many people buy 4wd trucks lift them and out mud tires on them and then act like if they get mud on them it is ruined. Thats like saying your not going to put anything in the bed because it might scratch the paint or bed liner. These trucks are intended to go off road thats why they have 4wd. If mud on the under carriage was so detrimental to these trucks then mine would have broke down along time ago.

Hey,

Nice pictures!! Thats the first thing me and the buddies do when it rains. I cant go nemore because of 2wd, but none-the-less it is awesomely good.

On a second note, its peoples opinions about their trucks.
If i had a 4wd with a lift and aggressive tires, i would definitely take it offroad, because i would think it was a big waste of money to do that to your truck and use it for what it is for. Lol..come to think of it i wouldnt jack up a truck either, because it is harder to tow, and i do a lot of that.

None-the-less, nice pictures, and nice truck
