Where can I get a new or slightly used center console to swap-out my jumpseat besides ebay? The ones I can find on ebay have some scratches on them where as I would like to have one new or in a little better condition.

 

Junk yard is going to be your best bet, but the quality on ebay is going to be a lot better then a junk yard. You could order it through a ford parts website, but its going to cost quite a bit more.

 

yeah man i bought mine on ebay it took me about 4 months to get one cause i couldnt find a tan one. mine came with a few scratches but nothing to noticable and its way better than the ugly rag jump seat that was there.

 

I have an E-bay one in gray and it looks perfect. No problems with shipping and got it in about 4 days. Good experience.

 

I too ended up buying mine off E-Bay and wasn't disappointed. The picture they showed had a couple visable scratches but when I got it I had to look close to find one at all. I was very happy with it.

 

Yep -- got mine off ebay as well from a place up in Arkansas. They advertised that there were some minor blemishes on them, and I would have to say they were so minor they did not bother me -- and I am pretty ****-rententive about stuff for my truck! I suspect if I thought they were ok, 98% of other guys would feel the same......

 

Another E-bay buyer here. Mine came wrapped up plastic like it was straight from the dealer. Very satisfied with my buy! The only blemish was a tiny scratch towards the bottom of the console that is hidden by the seats anyway! Got mine for $165.00

 

I got a nice center console from a 2007 for $100 on ebay, nobody bid aginst me. Usually weekend end of bids get a lot attention. Also if the description isn't good a lot of people miss it. I did a search on "ford console" you'll get more hits, then pick and choose. Have to be patient!

Will any of the 2005-2008 center consoles swap out with the jump seat/flip down console that came in my 2008 XLT?

What year Expedition consoles will fit with little or no modification?

 

I also bought through E-bay. No problems at all. Took awhile, at the time it was very popular, and bidding was getting crazy.

If you buy from Ford (i was looking into this also) I think it cost somewhere around $600 or so, and will be the same exact quality as the one on e-bay.

Its a no brainer, buy it off e-bay.

pylda: Pretty sure all center consoles are interchangeable. Don't know anything about changing to an expedition console, but I wouldn't think that would work, since its built around the F1250.350 chasis. Could very well be wrong though.
