4.56/clutch pack??

My truck has a slight vibration when taking off coming from the rear. I am told that this is common on 05+ F150s and it usually means that the clutch packs are too tight. Some suggestions have been to do some crazy 8s in a parking lot to loosen them up. Of course, I am under warranty, so I dont mind taking it in.

I am considering putting in a 4.56 rear gear in the truck. When I have the rear gears put in, will this loosen up the clutch packs? I have no idea about the pieces in a rearend (no pun intended). If it would fix the tight clutch packs, I am assuming that it wouldnt be worth it to have it serviced and then have gears put in.

Input?

I don't think so. Although the rear carrier (differential-contains the clutches) will be removed and replaced with a new ring gear, that won't necessarily loosen them. Now if there is something a tech can do with the carrier out of the truck to loosen them, I don't know. Maybe someone else can chime in.
