I have seen a single gauge pod for the A pillar. I think AutoMeter makes it but I am not certain.

right now, there are basically only 4 options for gauges. I searched long and hard to find a single mount pod. The Roush is the only 1 that is that way.

I have had the Roush vent pod installed for a few days now. It looks pretty good IMO. And it doesn't make a difference in A/C use either. I ended up only using 1 and put it above the 4x4 switch. I have 2 of them. If you're interested in 1, PM me.

Roush Vent

AutoMeter Pillar Pod (there is another manufacturer with 3 spots as well)

Saleen/Harley D Dash Pod

Stylin Concepts Dash Insert

I think it would be just fine.

the gauge itself may get warm, but the heat coming from the vents isn't all that hot. Your truck will get hotter during the summer (130+F cab temp in the sun with windows up) than the vent can ever produce.

the gauge will be just fine. I would be very slightly concerned about a Water/Oil Temp gauge getting changed by a few degrees...but otherwise it will have no affect on gauges
