Congrats on the new truck. Sad to see a truck in that condition.

Did you pick that blue or were you just looking for any Screw 6.6 configuration.

Ballin STX: we still need to meet up somepoint since we are local to eachother. Maybe I can build you a set of Efans on weekend?

Hey TrueBlue, in your post you said you were looking for a longbed, but in your pic the truck looks like a shortbox or as everyone has stated, a 6.5' bed. Which is yours, an 8' or 6.5' bed?

I don't think you can get one in an f150, but I know you can get a screw 8' bed in the 250 and 350. I wouldn't call that a long bed then, that's actually a short box.

The bed on the Screw F-150 is the 5.5 unless you order the 6.5 bed (option made available mid-2006+). So on the F-150 Screws, the 6.5 bed is the long bed. If you need the 8 ft. bed on a Screw, you need to go to the F-250 or higher.

I orderd mine with the 6.5 ft bed as my brother in law has the 5.5 and says it is too small. I am guessing that most Screws are made with the 5.5 bed as so many people that buy trucks really do not need a truck so the 5.5 bed is enought for the occasional use it gets. Nice choice on color too. You will love the 6.5 bed - I know that I do.

Short bed, long bed..... medium bed??? What ever you want to call it. It is the F150 SCREW with the longer 6.5' bed. They don't make an F150 SCREW with and 8' bed, hence that is why they refer it as a long bed SCREW. They are very difficult to find. I wanted the blue and was very happy to find it in the configuration I wanted. Omeara Ford in Denver has a couple just like this but in different colors.

I was able to salvage some of the mods on my old truck. Just haven't had time to get them put on.

That's cool True, was just a little confusing to me because in truth you have shortbed. I only say that because you can get a screw w/ an 8' bed even if it is only a 250 or 350. When I looked for my truck I was looking for a 150 scab with an 8' bed and man are those hard to find! Took me 4 months to find one in the tristate area. It seems to me there are alot of 6.5 and 5.5 beds, which to me are useless. I need a longbed for work and those short boxes just don't cut it for me. Cute, but useless. Btw True, nice truck and color. I unfortunately could only choose from white
