It isn't cheap, but if you're gonna get a manual, get the very best one - the OEM service manual from Helms.

Don't forget the wiring diagrams.

Freddy,I seen the ones from Amazon and they go to 2006 as with some other sites. Quentin, I seen the one you are referring to on a link from motorcraft.com. they are sweet, quite detailed and yes very $$$. Hey, an idea just came to mind, this might be a great xmas present to moi from the wife. thanks so much, you also got me squared away a few years ago on the "real oil pressure gauge". loved it

Don't forget ebay can be a good source for factory service manuals. I've gotten new or lightly used manuals at reasonable prices this way.

hey greencrew, that is worthless.

however, on eBay they sell the OEM factory service DVD's that are for real however.

I have one for my 06. The DVD covers all Ford/Mercury/Lincoln vehicles from 2005/2006.

I suggest you get one of those. It is way more detailed than any Haynes manual, and they've been going for roughly $20 on eBay lately. Just be sure to get one for the proper year. These DVD's only cover 1 yr or 2 yrs. Not 10 yrs of vehicles

I would 2nd that notion!

I bought the Helms manuals for my 00 Trans Am. There is more information there than you would ever need to know.

It helped me get through this

I'm glad I asked first. Thanks for the tip. I'll look for a Helms or OEM DVD.
