Badges and Emblems

wanting to paint my f150 badges all black and emblems. How can i get the badges all blacked out to match the color on my truck? Do i have to do anything besides just tape it off and spray paint? What do i have to do with the oval emblems to get them black?

rough up, tape off a huge area about 2x as big as you think you'll need and spray per can directions and don't rush it. Ebay has people who sell replacement ford logos, just watch the item description. I bought some overlays and they just sucked cause they was really cheap thin stickers.

there was a recent thread on here with someone who painted there logos this past week that you might check out. I'd rough them up with some medium steel wool or a green scour pad. You just need some texture for the prime coat to stick to.
