Now how do you think the outcome will be when the Bimmer rams a tree:confused: Nice car btw just be careful in it!

Low_e_Red 10-24-2008 12:46 PM

Get I get those rims?

I need a temp set while I get my rims worked on...

austinbF150 10-24-2008 01:05 PM

What size are the tires on ur truck?

MercedesTech 10-24-2008 01:15 PM

So, you hit a tree going 45 in your f150. It saves you, doors still open for cryin out loud ! Glad to hear your fine too !

You then trade to a faster car ? one that wont survive the accident ? Safe to say its worse off. Sometimes, I just don't get it. Just be safe !! Take care ! And glad your ok !

nice new ride BTW !

jlstang351 10-24-2008 01:43 PM

I want the fender flares!!

Tylus 10-24-2008 01:51 PM

that was a pretty truck

I'm with MT here, you destroyed that thing, and the door still opens...holy ****. Just another reason my family rides in big vehicles with 5 star safety ratings

Well fine then, leave us, traitor!!!!

That is a bad azz Bmer though, congrats :beers:

Arca_ex 10-24-2008 04:57 PM

You ran into a tree? While going 45 in a residential neighborhood? S*** I would be scared to see you driving that M3 around...

Sorry for being this blunt but seriously?

Average-Joe 10-24-2008 05:08 PM

The tree always always wins, glad your ok!

ModBargains 10-24-2008 06:01 PM

Sorry to hear about the truck :( Congrats on the M3 though!

pmason718 10-24-2008 08:40 PM

Glad to hear your ok. Have fun in that M3. I have two bimmers now and I almost bought a third one (335I) but I have motorcycles and two bimmers now so my mother forced me to get my truck. I was never a truck guy. Trucks never caught my eye but now that I have it I love it.

risupercrewman 10-24-2008 08:42 PM

Don't try that stunt in that Nazi Sled! You won't fare too well!...........

Josiah 10-24-2008 09:24 PM

I'd buy that truck and fix it up, doesn't look too bad but the frame might be torn to bits. Nice car selection, probably one of the only cars I'll drive. How quick is it?

07HD 10-24-2008 10:48 PM

Sorry about your truck. Glad to hear you are okay. Good choice of car. If I ever wrote off my truck an M3 is one of few other vehicles I'd look at buying.

DARK KNIGHT08 10-24-2008 11:00 PM

Glad to hear your ok. That is a pretty hard hit.

Barrett 10-24-2008 11:36 PM

Glad your ok, man I want built like that tree. Hit it 45 mph and does that to your truck and tree is fine. I want that. Nice looking BMW by the way, Dont go hitting a tree in that though.

Bucs1420 10-25-2008 12:11 AM

Glad to hear your ok, but geez that tree did a number on your truck....Very nice choice in car.
My car before my truck was a 325i. I loved it

If my truck dissappeared suddenly, I would look into the 08's, but probably hold out to see the diesel option for the 09 or that econoboost engine.

My truck is NOT my daily driver, I do have other vehicles. If I wana go fast, i jump into a Mercedes.

Also, just cuz the frame is bent, doesn't mean its a lost cause. Its fairly easy to straighten that frame out, throw a "salvage" title on it, or green sticker it, and keep it strictly off road. Just if your interested.

Rockpick 10-28-2008 11:24 AM

No 2009 Diesel option, MT... Maybe 2010.

Also, to the OP -- I'm betting the 1.5' concrete wall there in the front didn't help the matter... Like the others, glad you're okay... enjoy the new Bimmer.

As for all the guys looking to buy parts off of it; I'd contact his insurance company. I bet they own it now. :)

What's wrong with that. Let me re-explain this. She didnt force me but she made me realize that I already have 2 cars and the truck is needed for the bikes. Its difficult to say no to a new bimmer (335) twin turbo.

Broke my heart right there RP. :(

Guess I should check out the 09 forum more often huh ? Oh well, first went the Boss 6.2 or whatever, now the diesel is being pushed back.... lame. Oh well, my truck is still just a pup !

OP: How ya liking that new ride ? Betcha wish you woulda got a Mercedes !!

Trust me, I know. I have one. Mercedes has nothing on it either in that price range. Not even close. Sorry MT.

I was headed to the lake and going through a green light when a guy made a right on red and it was too late....messed up the front end of the truck, rims, trailer as well. Boat seems Ok but I can't tell...
