What to look for with a front end accident

I got into a 5 vehicle trainwreck this morning. I just happened to be the last vehicle in the line. Apparently, from the people in the front of the line, the lady in front almost passed her place to turn and slammed on her brakes, no signal just hit the brakes hard to make the L turn. We were all traveling 50MPH, speed limit for this area, and nobody could stop in time. I try to watch ahead of the car in front of me, advantage that I have sitting up high, and saw the brake lights come on his vehicle, so I hit mine to slow down, but not to come to a stop. I didn't hit the guy in front of me very hard, but did do some damage to my bumper and possibly some other stuff behind it.

Any help from those of you that have gone through this before would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Pics will be up shortly.

well, on a plus side, you can upgrade your bumper to a 06+ now...and get the front end repainted. I'm sure it needs it like my front bumper does

sorry to hear it

My bumper definitely needed repainting, or powdercoating, lots of stone chips. I don't really care if the fog lights are round or rectangular...they both look fine to me.

I found an '05 black bumper locally for 275 complete with fog lights and lower valence. The guy sent me pics and it looks great, he swapped to the '06 soon after he bought it.

All I need is one bumper bracket and a few whacks with the persuader and I should be good to go.
