What Direction to go?

Well, i have a fairly modified 04 f150 fx4 3v 5.4 and im trying to decide what direction to go in now. One idea i have is going bigger(perhaps 40's or 42's) and some fiberglass fenders which would provide the extra clearance. The problem with that is the addition of what is already a ton of stress on the tranny and suspension b/c of the 37's im running now. Also i will be lacking in the power dept.

The other idea is taking the body lift off (not exactly sure how hard this would be) and going down a tire size while adding a turbo or supercharger? This seems like some fun becuase i would be reducing some of the stress on my tranny with smaller tires but the increase in power would add some stress. I would also see an increase in fuel mileage and would love the extra power since i spend alot more time on the streets these days. I had to rebuild the tranny already at 60K miles. Any suggestions? I am also open to new ideas. Also, does anyone know where to find lower gears than 4.56 for the new f150's?

Mods include: 6" stage II procomp and 3" body, 37x13.5r17 toyo mts, pacesetter headers, magnaflow cats, flowmaster muffler, k&n cai, edge evo, and 4.56 yukon gears.

Thanks,
--Drew

how about removing the body lift, keeping the 37s, adding the fenders for clearance, and if there is money to spare supercharging it...

I guess the stress on the drivetrain would still be there...

thirdgenbird...i like the idea of taking off the body lift and running the 37s with the fenders. Where can i find the 4.88s or 5.13s?

glad to help, I'm not sure where the best place would be... I'm in need of 4.56s but have not looked yet
