Blackout! pics inside..
I painted them with Krylon Fusion black satin and then ordered some oval emblem overlays from Patriotdecals.com in flatblack/dsg.. I love them, and the price was right!
I'll take that as, "I don't know either but I have short **** syndrome and my girlfriend left me so I'll start an ebattle so I can feel like a man."
H-bar grille, I gues you mean the grille that comes on the STX and FX4? The roush is a complete replacement insert, no cutting necessary. Just remove the H-bar part and mount the Roush grille, you keep your grille surround.. Install was really easy, took the better half of an hour. It fits all F-150 models 04+ as far as I know.
Yes, That's what I ment...
Did your new grill come with a badge or did you swap yours over?
See you in a bit... Going to order my grill now!!
By the way who makes this Brush Guard:
This is the same grill I have also...

AirAid modular intake tube, K&N filter, Magnaflow Exhaust, Line-X'd bed and fender wells, 2.5 Inch AS Level Kit and 3 inch AS Rear Block, 1 Mile range Viper 5900 SST remote start and alarm system, JL Audio Stealthbox, JL Audio 500/1, JL Audio 300/4, Alpine Type-R 6.5 inch components in front doors, Alpine Type-R 5x7's in rear doors, Alpine Iva-w505, LOTS of Dynamat, 15% Tinted windows, Billet Grills in factory H-bar and lower bumper.
I dunno bout the bull bar, but you just re-use your old badge, just make sure you save the little screws that attach the emblem to your h-bar grille, they look better than the push screws that you get with the Roush grille install kit..

the whole black thing is a bit too much for me, but I do like it. I prefer a little contrasting color personally.
good job
that is an awesome idea. I might be sporting some blacked out Maggie tips shortly. thanks for the idea
I got some grief down by Austin in Feb 2007 about my plate covers. cops told me it was illegal to cover any portion of the plate. let me off with a warning since I had out of state plates and was military.
stupid law, but next time I drive in Texas I'll remove my covers at the border

So yea, other than that, I haven't really seen an issue with tinted tails around here.. I do catch a lot of cops around here staring me down tho.. I'd like to think it's cuz my trucks awesome tho.. lol
I do have contrast. My truck has black, flat black, satin black, gloss black, semi-gloss black.. just about any and every shade of black.. heck I even sport some chrome inside my headlights..lol
but seriously my emblems/decals are flat black/dsg which really seems to pop for me..
