The wiper motor is bolted to the firewall, under the plastic cowl and the pedals are bolted to the firewall as well. The vibration just transfers through, I've felt this on every vehicle I've ever owned.

Mine actually made noises while operating. Dealer tightened up the mounting bolts and it never did it again.

I was hoping that mentioning work boots in the same sentence would cancel out the flip flops.

I live near the beach, and go often. That's how I justify the flip flops to myself. Today I wore them to the bar to watch the Lions game, didn't even see the ocean. Maybe I need to come up with a better excuse.

As for feeling the wipers and a/c fan through the pedals, I wonder if it has anything to do with the adjustable pedals. I have adjustable and feel it. I wonder if the people with non-adjustable don't?

I wear flip flops all the time, but mine have built in bottle openers in the bottom so it cancels out.

Yep, one for each bottle opener! There's ones with built in flasks too but I heard they didn't hold up as well.
To anyone that's wondering they're Reefs.

By the way, going back to the original topic, it doesn't really rain in the desert so I don't know

For having a friend that actually bought "double bladed blue wipers" you have now just lost all your man points to me. Better luck next time.

You lost all man points for trying to explain the man point system to men.
