You have a dead battery, same thing happened to me not long ago. No warning whatsoever. The clicking is the security system module behind the rear seat.

Change the battery and see what happens. I bet that is it. These systems do some weird things when the battery fails. How old is it?

I hope that a battery fixes yours as it did mine. I just had a hard time accepting total failure after it cranking fine and driving a few miles. I have not had a problem since installing the new battery.

Changed out the battery on my wife's Expedition this weekend. It was 5 years old, so just did it as preventative maintenance, so she wouldn't get caught out somewhere. A lot easier and cheaper to do in the driveway then on the highway!

I don't know about their warranty, but most likely it is prorated like other batteries. I replaced mine with an Interstate from Sam's Club. I've had good luck with them in the past. The Interstate is full replacement for 19 months, then prorated to 89 months.

depending on which battery they sold you it will be X years replacement and then pro rated. but it only pays for the battery not the test or install.

I have been told that these trucks will not crank unless a certain voltage (>10?) is measured across the battery. Anyway, there are many sensitive electronics aboard the 150 that may not react too well to low voltage situations.

On the side, my father's '99 dually would crank and crank, but not start here at the house about two years ago. They have twin batteries, and both were measuring about 12V. We called Longmont Ford for advice, and the service writer told us to replace the batteries. Behold, the truck started immediately. It turns out that the starter was pulling all the amps just to turn the motor without enough juice to open the injectors. Even though a battery can measure 12V, that says nothing about it's ability to deliver current.

What if it does it again a week after a new battery?
