Yep. Been going on for about 2 months now. Best deal going.

If I was planning on getting another F150 for the corral I'd snag one up tomorrow.

Maybe not the right place to post (hopefully it is)

was wondering if this version can then be converted to the intercooled version

Thanks in advance

It can, but it will cost you more than the supercharger to do it.

This one will run 6 psi and will get you well over the 112hp value. I'm getting as much RWHP as most intercooled models due to the tune and true dual exhaust. The only unfortunate thing is the blower suffers from heat soak during warmer days. I can live with that. 6 months out of the year hear it's nice and cool (<85 daytime <50 at night).

from Roush themselves

"You can purchase the intercooled upgrade kit at a later time. The part number is 401894 and retail cost is $2958.16, you can order this through any authorized Roush dealer."

so, that is $2958.16 on top of the $2,400 supercharger

equals around 5500 dollars. That doesn't sound like a good deal to me... when you can buy them for that elsewhere for the same price. Doesn't the ebay ad state AS IS?

the eBay auction is for a complete 100% ready to go F-150 5.4 3v supercharger...Non-Intercooled. adds 112 HP, 112 TQ at the crank

the $2958.16 is to upgrade that Supercharger setup to the Intercooled setup...and you only gain 33 crank HP more.

so $2,400 for 112 hp...and another $3000 to get 33 HP extra (total of 145 extra ponies)

Right, which means you pay 5400 for everything and the supercharger has no warranty. Troyer Performance sell the complete intercooled SC for the same price.

Doesn't sound like a good deal to me.

I see what your getting at. The the $2958 is an upgrade price...as in you already have the non-intercooled setup and are unhappy. so you purchase the upgrade kit.

it is cheaper to buy the intercooled kit out the gate. and they normally have the warranty. the $2,400 kit is on clearance pricing to get them out. since the price is so low, you aren't paying for the warranty.

but for the money, you can't beat the $2,400 for 112 HP.

If it wasn't for the home projects we're in the middle of I would pick up the intercooled setup
