Trying to buy an '08 but there are none!!

In my configuration anyway.

For the last week I've been searching for a replacement for my '04. I've obviously been out of the loop, but I'm shocked at how many Supercrews are available and how few Supercabs in Lariat 4x4 trim. I'd buy one today if I could find it. I'm sad to say that I've been test driving other brands after buying 7 F-150's in a row.

My needs are simple.

Lariat Supercab 4x4 6.5' bed
Exterior - Black
Interior - Beige
Loaded but no moonroof this time.

Inventory searched with nothing even close. Where have they all gone! There are Supercrews out the ying and they are giving them away.

I have lost my Ford dealer connection so I'm hoping someone here has the ability to search more thoroughly than I do through the Ford site. My '04 has been a great truck but it's time for a new one. I don't want it to be another brand.

go to the dealership. they can search for you and if you find the one you want they will order it or if its to far you get to drive it you really want it.

When the deals are this good, the Lariats go first. There are no SuperCab Lariats in my area either, and none in the Madison area.

Thanks! But, I just did an inventory search of the 5 dealers closest to that zip and not a single Lariat Supercab! Crazy

Obviously going to the dealer is what I will do, I just want to be armed with some info about availability beforehand. Sadly, there appears to be very few out there. A friend of a friend sells for Ford and was supposed to call when he finds me one. My phone isn't ringing.

Having one built - which is what I've always done - would seem to be a no go since the '09 are in production.

Can't find an F-150 to buy. Weird!

My dad and I did contracting as well before I signed up. We always used reg cab F-150's with 8 ft beds.

you should seriously look into the SuperCrew then. After owning my Screw, I would never go back to a Reg Cab for anything. The Screw Cab alone gives you tons of space. The rear seats fold up nicely and give you a pretty darn big space to store valuable tools. And then the 6.5' bed is basically a 9' bed with tailgate down.

From a practical, and convenience aspect, the Screw is a better truck for your needs. Have you really looked at one? I had no idea how big the interior was until I bought mine. It's huge. and only 1 ft longer than your current rig with that 6.5' bed...same size if it's the 5.5' bed

True but the Supercab meets my needs perfectly. I almost never haul people in the back seat. I mostly just throw groceries and other small junk back there. Don't get me wrong, more space is always nice. But the extra weight, wheelbase and price aren't what I need right now. Plus, I really like the way my current truck looks.
