Just scored a set of these brand new for $135 shipped to the door on Ebay. Anyone have these and how was the install and how are they holding up? For those who got them painted, how much did it cost? Has anyone tried to paint plares with the spray paints sold online? Would I need a clear coat too?

There are some other pics there if you're interested. It cost me $250 or so to have them painted, def. not cheap but I'm from a small town with only one decent paint shop, so maybe you can do better. Installation was straight forward, though mine had a missing piece or two in the kit. EGR was good about it, they quickly sent me out a whole new hardware kit and not just the clip I was missing. As far as holding up, I have noticed no flaking, chipping, etc.

 

Ive had mine for about a year now and have had zero problems. The clips are tight. I never painted mine.
