5.4l heads?

Wondering who sells 5.4l heads.....months away from doing the long tube headers but just looking into how much some performance heads will cost should a bolt break during the header install. anybody got any info on aftermarket performance heads for our truck?

No aftermarket heads, but you've got a few pricey options. These heads do not come with cams. Whether they bolt right up to the truck block I'm not sure. These are aimed at the '05–xx Mustang 4.6L 3V market. With cams you're looking at north of $2000 each.

You have 2 options, get your stockers ported (or exchange for ported ones) or buy the FRPP ported heads. Either option will run you about 3 large, more if you have them cut for oversize valves and/or install high lift springs for bigger cams.

Here is a link for the frpp heads

If you go the ported route, give Mark a call at modularmustangracing.com or Al a call at boss330racing.com

These two guys know more about making a 5.4 move than anyone else do period.

heads are a waste of money with the modular motor...unless as supporting mods for making serious power

spend $1k more and get a supercharger. You'll put down 400+ RWHP and some guys get close to 500 RWHP with good supporting mods and tuning. You can pick up a decent intercooled S/C for under $5k
