Question studder at 50-55 MPH

Hello everyone, I am not only new to this forum, I am also a new truck owner.

I recently purchased a 2005 F150 Lariat Supercrew with a v8 5.4 Triton engine with 37k miles.

The truck runs fine for the most part, however, while I am driving if I maintain a constant speed between 50 and 55 mph the truck will occasianally feel like it studders for a second then continues with a smooth ride for a few minutes then it happens again. At higher or lower speeds I do not feel this hesitation.

Can anyone make suggestions as to what this may be? I thought of changing the spark plugs but I am not sure thats the problem.

The truck has a K & N air filter system and 2 air scoops on the hood.

Please help!

Thanks war569
