I wouldn't doub it. Dealers are seriously trying to get 08's off the lot to make room for the 09's.

I dont know if they are selling them that cheap but I know they are going for alot less than normal

Well I have seen dealers nocking about 10k-12k off them down here. I have seen brand new King Ranch f150s for like 31 or so. Its crazy how much gas has affected these prices along with the 09s coming out.

About a month ago when I bought my '06, there was a dealership in Cincinnati that had '08 F150 Supercab XLT 4x4 V8 for like $18K. But $3K of that was owner loyalty bonus and I was trading a Dodge, so I figured I wouldn't get that and $21K was out of my budget.

My co-worker just picked up a chevy. yuck. anyways it listed at 34k, employee pricing sale brought it down to 26k, and he traded in his dodge which the dealer gave him 11k for, so he only financed a brand new (96 miles on it) chevy 1500 for only 15k.

that sucks ***** man, dec. of 07 i paid 17,500 for my 04 f150 with 28k on the clock. i wish i would have been able to wait a little longer back then, eventhough i wouldnt have bought a chevy, im sure i could still get a new 08 f150 for dirt cheap nowadays.

I don't know what fully loaded means but that price is close to what I bought my truck for... and it listed at around 30.

yesterday i bought a new 2008 xlt supercrew (no 4x4) msrp was $33000 after rebates and what not i got them down to $20900. they also threw in a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty and free oil changes up to 100,000 or 5 years. this dealer still had over 150 08's to sell.

since i felt like a saved a bunch i added a few goodies to the truck, a leer 700 tonneau, bed rug, alarm, and tint for the front windows. total financed was around $24000.

I purchased a 2 wheel drive STX brand new about 6 months ago for 19k

And I believe prices have dropped a ton since then too.

Wouldn't doubt these reports a bit. Got my truck (4x4 Reg Cab, STX, Auto, Power Package) in July for just under 17K after A/Rebates.

With the current market not wanting big trucks, yes, it's true; and with the new 09's around the corner, they're even cheaper.

Dont get me wrong... makes me sick! bought my 08 in febuary for 29k sticker 35k. mine is xlt screw 4x4.

Almost want to trade in for fx4 but would most likely be so much more upside down then ever. probably would only give me 15k for trade.

I bought my XLT in July of 05 sticker was 33K and out the door was $24K. I'm tempted to see what I can trade my truck for.
