The only useless thing I got rid of was the stupid little coin holder on the dash that was in the place of the 4wd button. A coin wouldn't stay in there if your life depended on it.

I jam my cell phone charger in the little rectangular hole under the climate controls.

My garage door opener fits in there and stays out of sight.

holes? Thought I only had one hole....but

I was about to reply that I dont have a hole in my dash.... I have the pull out cup holder that pulls out to meet the console. So I have four cup holders in the front center, 2 in the pull out and two in the console. But i had to go look and guess what, there is a hole under the cup pull out. Didnt even remember it being there. !! I do have some CDs in that hole in the front of the console. Looks like that could be a good place for a brake control but i would never see it since my cup holder has been out since the truck was new. I put my brake control on that metal plate under the dash. The one in the dash might be a good place to stuff a pair of work gloves or sock hat, Id think anything else might just roll out onto the floor. Hey I really like that trans gage in the coin hole. I might do that. How did you secure it on the back side????

I'm not 100% sure how it stays in there. I believe it is just such a tight fit that it just stays in there. It was my friends idea to put it there so I had installed there by a place in Orlando. The hole had to be slightly dremeled in order for it to fit. It may be screwed on the backside but I've never pulled it out since installation.
