Either way, very cool !

I will PM ya some more details about it, see if I am gunna be close enough by ya.
Well, I'm not a pilot, I'm flight engineer which is the systems expert, as well as operating aircraft systems, calculating TOLD (take off and landing data) telling pilots what to do when the s*** hits the fan and a whole lot of other crap. On hh-60's I'm also the rescue hoist operator and the right door aerial gunner . You're right about it being military though, the pave hawk is the air force's version of the army black hawk, but upgraded with more advanced systems and is our primary (actually only) CSAR (combat search and rescue) helicopter for the DOD (department of defense)

Anyway, let me know if you'll be around and if you need a place to stay I can hook you up

Thanks! North Cascades National Park (known as the American Alps) really is tough to beat for scenery and is great cause it's such a hidden gem (never crowded). Some of the best scenery and isolated/rugged parts in the country are located here (outside of Alaska) and if you ever get the chance to go I wouldn't hesitate for a second.

I know what you mean about the corn fields. Every time I'm TDY somewhere thats flat and/or bare I can't stand it (being from Washington and now in Arizona). Thanks for the compliment on the truck though, I appreciate it
