And yes removing the cats makes a noticeable difference in sound. It makes it a little more throaty as well, but it's not equivalent to what I've heard from long tubes! Performance, I honestly can't remember. Look at the old threads I've posted and see what I said then.
And to the rest of you who post video responses with no questions, they are all appreciated, they amp me up to post more vids. I have some vids of my truck in the snow I'll have to post, they are pretty fun.

You have a 2004 like me. I wanted to pull the rear cats off but we have to get our trucks smogged soon since they turn 5 years old this upcoming year. Are you gonna put the cats back on or do you know someone who will just pass your truck in the inspection?
