hey guys im putting on my 6" procomp lift right now and im putting the new knuckles on.

When i try to tighten up the lower ball joints, the ball joints are just spinning and i cant get the nuts to tighten.

can someone pleasee help me out!!

 

You need a cool tool like an impact gun or air ratchet, you will never get it by hand....You might but it will take a couple beers and a whole lot of cussing. Where you at in Chi????

That happened to me when installing my fabtech. Just have a friend provide force in the opposite direction and it will tighten right up.

 

happened to me too, squirt em down with some WD40 or other lube and it will spin on enough so you can get a wrench on the bottom on the stud. also a wide selection of ratcheting wrenchs are a awesome to have when installing a lift on these trucks.

 

You can also get a small needle nose under the rubber boot and hold it while you tighten it a little more. Then crank it down all the way while you push down on the A arm and jack up the knuckle.
