nice! Don't you love it when you have problems and you remember how nicely everything is positioned. Makes it much easier.

yeah it does make it easier. like right now im having trouble with my alpine xm reciever my hu picks up the xm and my ipod but no sound weird. so i bypassed the xm and now i get sound from my ipod so i guess the xm reciever is messed up thinking of getting a alpine sirius reciever now.

Sounds like the problem I was having with my old alpine 9855 (I think that's the model) I could not get both the Sirius and iPod to work it was one or the other

really well i had it working before i took everything out to redo it. i had xm and ipod on it and worked fine for a long time maybe about 2 years. so what did you end up doing like the hu picks up the xm and the name of songs but no sound at all same for ipdo, and its not the cables because i tried both cables with ipod with out xm and both works both ways.

i wouldnt say crooked maybe rotated 45degrees. well i put them like that because if not i was going to cross my rca's and power wire a bunch of times and the other alpine boxes wouldnt fit with all the wires. believe me i messed with it for a night till i got them to fit perfect and plus i would have a hard time removing the bottom part of the seat which i have to do to remove the "amp board". thanks for the replies guys...
