Im looking at replacing my armrest for my XLT Floor Console in my truck and want to know if anyone know if the arm rest portion is the same from 04 to 08?

I have the 04 XLT Center Console and the arm rest for sale is for a Flow Through Console...06+.

I want to make sure before buying this leather one on ebay that the it will work. I assume the XLT Floor Console and the Flow Through Console use the same armrest???

Cool, I ended up buying the leather arm rest lid. I had originally bought a Tan Floor Console since in 2005 or so, these things were so hard to get a hold of. I ended up using some Interior Spray and Sprayed everything Black - Looks good to this day, only the arm rest (since its like a rubbery material) started to rub off and is looking like its slowly going to fade to tan in certain areas. Since the Plastic parts are all good and still black, I decided to just change the lid to a Leather one since I do have Black Leather anyways.

question on the same-ish topic. i have 07f-150 xl and i was wondering if i could upgrade to the xlt center console or possibly another one without too much hastle. i hate not having cup holders in my center console lol

 

You could also buy an xlt center jumpseat. They have cupholders.

 

You should have no problems...I had a Center Jump Seat, swapped to a XLT Floor Console...bolted right up.

 

I have a center seat with cup holders if your interested.

 

x2 and one of my favorite mods since. The center console holds SOOO much more junk then that jumpseat ! Love it.

Ya, but I HATE it when someone sits all up close to me like that when I am driving.I need room for my big *** arms to move around. She can still reach over and play though !
