Changing out leveling kit question???

Another question for you folks.....I have an 04 F150 4x4 5.4l supercrew.....i have a two inch leveling kit on my truck.....got it four years ago and dont remember what brand it is.....i do know its the type you have to compress the spring to install.....im thinking i want to switch to a 2 1/2" autospring because of rubbing problems with my tires. i have the factory rubber things that go on top of the strut that were replaced by the parts for leveling.....i remember the leveling kit coming with different bolts to mount up to the top part of the strut but i dont have any stock bolts that came out...so im wondering if i will have a problem returning my strut back to stock in order to put an autospring on top of it with the longer bolts that are in there now.
thanks

most likely you will have issues. the space inside the AS 2.5" kit is only 1.5" tall...at most.

it was somewhat difficult to do with just the OEM length studs...how much longer are the new studs?

I dont know the exact lenght because its installed on the truck.....im just pretty sure that the ones that went on were longer than stock....also i think it was a daystar leveling kit i put on there. i just dont want to get it all apart and find out i have the wrong hardware and have to put it all back togethor while i wait for some bolts.

If it comes to that... Just cut down the bolts you have, to the size you need and then run a dye over the threads to clean em up!!
