Key Issues

I have a 2006 F150 Scab fX4. When i bought it the dealer only had one key. I really need to get another key made in case i would ever lose the one i have. I kno you need to sets to complete the programming yourself. What is my best option as far as getting another key made? Should i buy the stuff off ebay and let the dealer program it? Should i buy fusion key? i need some advice.

Take it back to the dealer and explain that it only came with one key. They should program another one for you for free since ALL Ford vehicles are supposed to come with two keys.

Well, there is no other way to program a key yourself without having a minimum of two keys to start with. You'll have to take it to the dealer so they can use an NGS to program a newly cut key.

Take it to a locksmith, it will be a lot cheaper.

It would have to be a locksmith with an NGS.
