Need pics of this

on my truck. Anyone have em?

Pro Comp Xtreme Alloy Series 6001

I just bought a set of 20x10's for 500 bucksfor my 05 sc 4x4. I would like to run 35x12.5's but it looks from all the searching I did 33's is the biggest I can go with a 2.5 leveling kit. Gonna order up some toyos but I am wondering if anyone has pics of this setup. Thanks in advance

Peter

don't know where you were searching, but you can fit 35x12.5x(pick rim size of 17/18/20) on the stock rims

since you're going aftermarket, the 35" tire will fit even better. how much backspacing are these new rims? alot more backspacing than OEM may cause super wide 33" or 35" tires to rub badly when the wheel is fully locked over

They are 4.5 inch back spacing with a negative 12 mm offset. I am willing to trim the fender liners and the front plastic a little but if it is hitting a arms and things its not gonna work.

Also thanks for the pics link. I am stoked, Milos truck looks badass with even just a 33. I might just go with that.

with 4.5" of backspacing, there is no way you are going to fit 35s with a leveling kit.

Not quite.

You can fit 35x12.5 on your OEM rims with minimal rubbing on the UCA. Maybe a little trimming will be required.

When you go with aftermarket rims you can't run anything bigger then 33x12.5. The only way you could make it work is to find an aftermarket wheel with the exact specs (backspacing, width, etc) as the OEM wheels. There is a member here named PawPaw who did it, and there are 1 or 2 others who pulled it off as well.

Go with 33 toyos, you won't be disappointed

I had a 35 mounted today on wheels that are 1in wider than stock, have less backspacing, and i still had no rubbing driving circles in the parking lot. all 4 hould be on soon. i will report back how it works down the road.

For the OP however, 33s will be th largest tire that fits. I think I am at the absolue limmit.

I figured 33's will be the way to go. My tire shop is cool though and said they would do a test fit first to see if they could work the 35's. But believe me, it is very wishful thinking

yes quite.

been there and did it. they fit just fine and no rubbing of the UCA. the 12.5 width is the absolute widest you can go though with a 33" or 35" tire.

the 35x12.5x18 Toyo M/T fit on my truck with about 1/4" to spare from the UCA. absolutely 0 contact between tire and UCA

Ok... So how did it work out once you got them all mounted. Anyway you can give more specific specs on your rims and tires. Am very interested in your results, as much as you can tell me will be appreciated!

Thanks.

Well It didnt work out at all. With the size wheel even the 33's rubbed too bad with just the leveling kit. I got the rims for a great deal so I am stuck with them. I can sell them or just get 35's and lift my truck. Not sure which avenue I want to go down yet. If I woulda had an 18 or a 20x9 it prob would have worked. My truck looks kinda weird now with stock tires and sitting 2 inches higher. I am really bummed about this whole fiasco.
