TPMS Sensors?

Does anyone know if I mount all my sensors in the spare, if the light will stay off? I have two sets of wheels and tires and would like to not have to buy another set of sensors and all the acc. that hold them on. Thanks for any help.

No, it won't work. Someone else tried putting the sensors in a pipe and seal it up then pressurized the pipe with air. Appearently the sensors send a second signal when the vehicle starts moving letting the computer know all 4 wheels are turning the same speed. When the vehicle starts moving and the computer does not see the second signal, it will illuminate the TPMS light. When you mount the sensors in the spare or in a sealed pipe, they wont send the second signal because they are not moving, and the light will come on.

On a side note, if your truck is an 04 like your profile says, you don't need to worry about it. The TPMS did not come on the 150's until 07

You can always shake the tube as you begin to drive!

Shaking will not work. you have to twirl it like a baton.
